Our Story
White Coat Conversations was founded by Dr. Deborah Jacobson, a board-certified urologist with training from leading institutions including Princeton University, the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, Vanderbilt University, Northwestern University, and the University of Cincinnati. Dr. Jacobson has extensive expertise in clinical and surgical urologic care, and has published research in leading medical journals.
Dr. Jacobson believes that patients deserve the opportunity to fully understand their urologic health, ask questions, and feel confident in their medical decisions. Long wait times, limited access to specialists, and rushed clinic visits often leave patients feeling uncertain and unsupported. White Coat Conversations was created to change that.
By providing video-based connections with highly trained physician specialists, White Coat Conversations provides a space for thoughtful discussion, second opinions, and expert-led education. Every physician on our platform is carefully selected based on their clinical experience, academic background, and commitment to patient-centered communication. The platform provides no treatments and no prescriptions, so there is no incentive for our physicians to upsell our customers or give self-interested advice.
